Wes Grant gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Beulah is 5-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 7-8 otherwise.

Coming up, Grant and Beulah will challenge Glenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 195 places lower in Alabama), but they're not letting that get them down.
