Baseball Recap: Fabens Wins Going Away Against Austin

While Fabens put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Austin. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Panthers. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Javier Hernandez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Ivan Luna, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Fabens' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Fabens is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Del Valle at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Austin, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Gadsden at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
