It was a good run, but Booker unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons by a score of 8-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tornadoes of the 14-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Dameer Watford made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Kobran Waters, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Booker's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.
