Volleyball Recap: Masconomet Regional's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Masconomet Regional waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Winthrop Vikings 3-0. The Chieftains have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-21.

Keira Conley paced Masconomet Regional's offense, picking up seven kills. Conley got some help from Jordan Draper and her 14 assists. Draper was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Masconomet Regional now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Winthrop, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Masconomet Regional will welcome Melrose at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Winthrop, they will venture away from home to challenge Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
