Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Grace Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Tri-Point Chargers and fell 59-25. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-13 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Grace Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Zoey Baldridge posted 15 points and six boards.

Grace Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Tri-Point, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against Donovan/St. Anne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tri-Point will challenge Flanagan/Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tri-Point is facing Flanagan/Woodland at the right time seeing as Flanagan/Woodland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
