O'Fallon has gone 6-1 against Mascoutah recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Panthers will square off against the Indians at 11:00 a.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (O'Fallon 3.8, Mascoutah 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Saturday, O'Fallon needed a bit of extra time to put away Mattoon. They came out on top against the Greenwave by a score of 6-3.

O'Fallon's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Connor Blue, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases. Carson Bauer was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Mascoutah came tearing into Friday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 5-0 shutout.

Mascoutah's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for O'Fallon, their win bumped their record up to 22-10.

Everything went O'Fallon's way against Mascoutah in their previous meeting back in April, as O'Fallon made off with a 14-1 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
