Yarmouth is 9-1 against Wells since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Yarmouth Clippers will host the Wells Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Yarmouth is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Cape Elizabeth: they outscored them in every quarter. Yarmouth blew past Cape Elizabeth 69-49 on Saturday. Given the Clippers' advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Capers are ranked 102nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Wells sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 victory over Freeport on Thursday.

Wells' win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Yarmouth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Yarmouth strolled past Wells in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 76-57. Will Yarmouth repeat their success, or does Wells have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
