Volleyball Recap: Gulf Buccaneers vs. Seminole Warhawks

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gulf can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Seminole Warhawks on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Buccaneers have suffered since September 16th.

While Gulf was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 25-15.

Seminole found their leader in underclassman Taylor Leide, who had 25 digs. Leide is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season.

Gulf's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Seminole, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Gulf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Seminole has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Dunedin on the 18th.
