Volleyball Recap: Windham Bombers vs. Bristol Panthers
After flying high against Leetonia on Wednesday, Windham came back down to earth. The Bombers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bristol Panthers on Thursday. The Bombers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.
The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 13-25, 25-14.
Makenna Jones paced Windham's offense, picking up six kills. Jones got some help from Kyleigh Simpson and her six assists. Jones also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kierrah Sanders, racking up four apiece.
