Sumrall is a perfect 8-0 against Purvis since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Tornadoes at 7:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when Sumrall challenged Petal on Thursday. The Bobcats lost 5-0 to the Panthers. Sumrall have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Purvis fell victim to West Harrison and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 1-0. Purvis have struggled against West Harrison recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Purvis now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Sumrall, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1.

Everything went Sumrall's way against Purvis when the teams last played back in January, as Sumrall made off with a 4-0 win. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
