Enochs has gone 8-2 against Modesto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Enochs Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Modesto Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Enochs will be strutting in after a win while Modesto will be coming in after a loss.

Enochs will head into Wednesday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 39) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 66-63 victory over Turlock.

Meanwhile, Modesto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 73-37 loss at the hands of Pitman. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1115th, while the Pride are ranked 127th).

Enochs pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Modesto, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.

Enochs was able to grind out a solid victory over Modesto in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 70-58. The rematch might be a little tougher for Enochs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
