Volleyball Recap: Monache Comes Up Short

Monache was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Garces Memorial Rams. The Marauders were not able to make up for their loss to the Rams from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 25-16.

Garces Memorial was led to victory by Makaela Guerra and Alice Silicz. Guerra had 14 digs, while Silicz had 14 assists and eight digs.

Monache's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Garces Memorial, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Monache will face off against Bakersfield Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Garces Memorial, they will challenge Golden Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
