Volleyball Recap: Packinghouse Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Packinghouse Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Cornerstone Christian Crusaders, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Packinghouse Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kylah Wallace had seven digs and two aces.

Cornerstone Christian found their leader in sophomore Olivia Nasar, who had 13 digs.

Packinghouse Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cornerstone Christian, their victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Packinghouse Christian Academy will take on Crossroads Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hamilton at 5:30 p.m.
