Valley Christian hadn't done well against Randolph recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Warriors came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 2-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won four contests in a row.

Anna E. Giannopoulos paced Valley Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Giannopoulos got some help from Lydia Hardy and her 18 assists. Giannopoulos was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 24-6. As for Randolph, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-17 record this season.

Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Montello on the 11th. As for Randolph, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Central Wisconsin Christian on the 11th.
