Football Game Preview: Whitney Wildcats vs. Jesuit Marauders + Official Tickets

The Whitney Wildcats will square off against the Jesuit Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitney is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Whitney is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Oak Ridge on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Wildcats lost 28-6 to the Trojans. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Jesuit suffered their biggest defeat since August 22nd on Friday. They were beaten by Folsom 42-7. The Marauders haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Even if they lost, Jesuit's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Duncan Broughton, Diego Foley, and Brayden Quinn, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Whitney, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Whitney was dealt a bruising 48-7 loss at the hands of Jesuit in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Wildcats were down 28-7.
