Baseball Recap: Catskill Starts off Right with Win over Greenwich

Catskill had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Greenwich Witches by a score of 9-5.

Catskill's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Riley Street, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Coming up, Catskill will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Cairo-Durham at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Cats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Greenwich, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Chatham at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
