Basketball Recap: Danica George's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ignatius Beans over Emmonak

Ignatius Beans lost against Emmonak last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Ignatius Beans Strivers fell 53-41 to the Emmonak Huskies.

Ignatius Beans' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Danica George, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Reanna Moses, who had 11 points.

Ignatius Beans' defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Emmonak, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Ignatius Beans does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Emmonak has also already played their next matchup, a 68-54 victory against Russian Mission on the 1st.
