Baseball Recap: Arcadia Takes a Loss

Somerset hit Arcadia with a four-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Raiders came up short against the Spartans, falling 12-2. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deklyn Grzadzielewski was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Somerset, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Arcadia nor Somerset have any future games scheduled.
