Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kiowa). They breezed by the Deer Trail Eagles to the tune of 67-19 on Tuesday. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Leading Kiowa to victory were Austin Brogger and Zayden Kalisch. Brogger dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten assists, while Kalisch dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Brogger a new career-high in points. Myles Erker was another key player, going 7 of 12 on his way to 15 points and six boards.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Kiowa was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Deer Trail's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chauncy Gudenkauf, who posted 11 points.

Kiowa is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.7 points. As for Deer Trail, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Kiowa has already played their next match, a 56-33 defeat against Dayspring Christian Academy on the 1st. As for Deer Trail, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-34 loss against Weldon Valley on the 30th.
