Baseball Recap: North Raleigh Christian Academy Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

North Raleigh Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the High Point Christian Academy Cougars. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 6-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jackson Tysor made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Tysor wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Banks Woody, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

North Raleigh Christian Academy pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for High Point Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, North Raleigh Christian Academy will take on Charlotte Latin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for High Point Christian Academy, they will challenge Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
