Volleyball Game Preview: Riverside Warriors vs. Parkersburg South Patriots

Riverside is 0-3 against Parkersburg South since August of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Saturday, Riverside came up short against Huntington and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Parkersburg South also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Spring Valley by a score of 2-0. The Patriots have struggled against the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 11-27. As for Parkersburg South, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15-1.

Riverside couldn't quite get it done against Parkersburg South in their previous matchup back in September of 2023 as they fell 2-0. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
