Addison is 0-4 against Pickens County since August of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Addison Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Pickens County Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Addison comes in on six and Pickens County on three.
Addison put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Shoals Christian, posting a 44-6 victory at home. With Addison ahead 28-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Pickens County didn't have too much trouble with Marion County at home last Thursday as they won 34-15.
Kemaurion Plott had a dynamite game for Pickens County, rushing for 88 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 89 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Caleb Hill, who gained 91 total yards and a touchdown.
Addison's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Pickens County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
