Football Recap: St. Edward Comes Up Short

St. Edward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 44-8 loss at the hands of the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Green Wave of the 69-15 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

St. Edward's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Marian Central Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.
