Volleyball Recap: Harvard Comes Up Short

Harvard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Plano Reapers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Harvard sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-21, 21-25, 25-13.

Harvard's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Plano, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

Harvard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Johnsburg on the 22nd. As for Plano, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Hinckley-Big Rock on the 18th.
