Preview: Edgemont vs. Wall

Wall and Edgemont go head to head this Friday. Edgemont will have its work cut out for it since Wall boasts a defense that has allowed an average of only 13 points per game.

Wall can now show off four landslide victories after its game last week. It had all the answers against Philip last week, winning 33 - 6. Wall had two big standouts, as junior Jacob Bielmaier rushed for 83 yards and threw for two touchdowns, while senior Trey Elshere earned three touchdowns and 88 yards rushing the ball. Elshere has been a consistent playmaker for Wall as this was the 4th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, Edgemont simply didn't have it last week, losing 46 - 0 to New Underwood. Edgemont unfortunately couldn't repeat the imposing 50-point effort it came up with in its previous game.

Edgemont's defeat dropped it to 1-6 while Wall's win brought it to 7-0. We'll see if Wall can add another positive mark to its record or if Edgemont can shake its loss and take the spring out of Wall's step.
