Volleyball Recap: Fountain Valley Takes a Loss

Fountain Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the James Irwin Jaguars.

While Fountain Valley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22.

Fountain Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for James Irwin, they moved to 2-10 with that victory, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Coming up, Fountain Valley will take on Canon City at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for James Irwin, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against The Vanguard School on the 19th.
