Volleyball Game Preview: Soledad Aztecs vs. Everett Alvarez Eagles

After both having extra time off, the Soledad Aztecs and the Everett Alvarez Eagles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Wednesday, Soledad came up short against Rancho San Juan and fell 3-1. The Aztecs have struggled against the Trailblazers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Soledad couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Rancho San Juan a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 33-35, 25-22, 25-19.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Everett Alvarez, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Pacific Collegiate on Monday.

Soledad's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Everett Alvarez, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Soledad couldn't quite get it done against Everett Alvarez when the teams last played on March 1st as they fell 2-0. Can Soledad avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
