Recap: Somerville Highlanders vs. Lynn English Bulldogs
This season hasn't been kind to The Somerville Highlanders, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They lost to Lynn English on the road by a decisive 20-6 margin on Friday. Somerville has struggled against Lynn English recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Jovanni Flores threw for 130 yards and a touchdown. Jeremiah Elie was his top target, picking up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Somerville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lynn English, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
Somerville is on the road again on Thursday and play against Chelsea at 6:00 p.m. on October 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Massachusetts (Medford is ranked 198th, while Lynn English is ranked 204th).
