Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Costa Mesa's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Costa Mesa's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They took down the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies 80-64. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-59 on January 3rd.

Costa Mesa has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Godinez Fundamental, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Costa Mesa will welcome Calvary Chapel at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
