Softball Recap: Cedar Ridge Comes Up Short

Cedar Ridge and Dripping Springs squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Cedar Ridge had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-1. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Cedar Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 25-6. As for Dripping Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-9-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Cedar Ridge nor Dripping Springs have any future games scheduled.
