Alta was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against East on Thursday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Leopards with a sharp 20-11 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Alta got a massive performance out of Addyson Brownell, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Brielle Watson was another key player, going 3-for-6 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Alta lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more home runs.

Alta's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for East, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9.

Looking ahead, Alta will welcome West at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East, they will square off against Judge Memorial Catholic at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
