Basketball Recap: Pinelands Regional Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Pinelands Regional was the 51-39 winner over Barnegat when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Pinelands Regional Wildcats took a 51-36 bruising from the Barnegat Bengals on Friday. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Pinelands Regional's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for Barnegat, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pinelands Regional Wildcats face off against the Lacey Township Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Barnegat has already played their next matchup (against Cedar Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
