Baseball Recap: Sipsey Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Paul W. Bryant last Friday, Sipsey Valley came back down to earth. The Sipsey Valley Bears lost 7-0 to the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats on Tuesday. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Sipsey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Tuscaloosa County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Sipsey Valley will head out on the road to challenge Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tuscaloosa County, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Vestavia Hills at 6:30 p.m. Vestavia Hills will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Tuscaloosa County surely won't give up without a fight.
