Baseball Recap: CHAAMP Homeschool Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

CHAAMP HomeSchool won the last time they faced Tournament Opponent and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks' way against Tournament Opponent as the CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks made off with a 13-3 win.

Joe Hefner was a standout: he fired off two home runs and seven RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Trenton Coleman was another key player, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-3.

Hefner wasn't the only one working in the hit department: CHAAMP HomeSchool kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for CHAAMP HomeSchool: they were averaging 5.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 9.8.

CHAAMP HomeSchool has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

CHAAMP HomeSchool will be taking part in a tournament against Fort Worth Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Tournament Opponent has already played their next game (against Hozho Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
