Basketball Game Preview: Carolina Forest Panthers vs. Conway Tigers

Carolina Forest is 2-8 against Conway since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers duke it out with the Tigers at 7:30 p.m.

Carolina Forest is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-39 heartbreaker at the hands of Conway.

Carolina Forest better keep an eye on Trevon Johnson. He was instrumental in Conway's win, putting up 13 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Jordan Jenkins, who posted nine points and seven boards.

Conway pushed their record up to 21-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.9 points over those games. As for Carolina Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
