Volleyball Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Northwest Cabarrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Carson Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 25-12.

Northwest Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Carson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northwest Cabarrus will face off against rival Salisbury at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Carson is set to challenge their familiar foe South Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
