Volleyball Recap: Crestview Beats Liberty for Their Third Straight Win

Crestview entered their tilt with Liberty on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Leopards with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Rebels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Crestview's got stronger as the match went on, holding Liberty to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-8, 25-7.

Crestview can attribute much of their success to Kerrigan Miller, who had seven aces and six digs. Those seven aces gave Miller a new career-high.

Miller wasn't the only good server: Crestview was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Crestview's record is now 3-0. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
