Baseball Recap: Dearborn Takes a Loss

Dearborn lost against Wayne Memorial back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pioneers fell just short of the Zebras by a score of 7-6.

Glenn Scurlock was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Bilal Berry was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Dearborn now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Wayne Memorial, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

While Dearborn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
