Softball Recap: Gilbert Takes a Loss

If Gilbert was feeling good fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Brookland-Cayce on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians fell just short of the Darlington Falcons by a score of 6-4 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Indians have suffered since March 30th.

Gilbert's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Darlington, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7.

As of now, neither Gilbert nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
