Recap: Herron Achaeans vs. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Raiders
The Herron Achaeans's found some homefield redemption this week after a tough overtime loss to the Indianapolis Lutheran Saints on Monday. Herron had just enough and edged Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter out 56-53. This was payback for Herron, who suffered a 54-35 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Herron got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jada Wright out in front who scored 11 points along with seven steals and six assists. Wright has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Foerster, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Herron is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season. As for Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, they bumped their record down to 5-12 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
