Soccer Game Preview: Niles West vs. Niles North

Niles West is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Niles North is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Wolves will welcome the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Niles West's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Maine West 6-0. Niles West might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Niles North). They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Maine East on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
