Soccer Game Preview: Cedar vs. Green Canyon

The Cedar Reds will face off against the Green Canyon Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Cedar is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Provo 5-1. That four goal margin sets a new team best for Cedar this season.

They hit Provo with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jaden Hlebasko (2), Addison Wood, Kyla Johnson, and TynzLee Nielson.

Meanwhile, Green Canyon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the Buffaloes get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The result was nothing new for Green Canyon, who have now won ten contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Cedar now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Green Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
