Softball Recap: Gunn Takes a Loss

Gunn fell victim to Wilcox and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 12-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Chargers: they've now lost five in a row.

Gunn's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Wilcox, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-16.

Looking ahead, Gunn will take on Homestead at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wilcox, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Los Gatos at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Chargers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
