Volleyball Recap: SkyView Academy Triumphs + How To Watch

After losing to Estes Park the last time they met, SkyView Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hawks came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 17-25, 25-22, 25-16.

Mei Li Scholl paced SkyView Academy's offense, picking up 16 kills. Scholl got some help from Lyla Kostiuk and her eight assists. Finally, Ellie McLaughlin and Evelyn Gilbert kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked four attacks.

Estes Park's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jade Ertl, who had 14 digs.

SkyView Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Estes Park, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-11.

SkyView Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Front Range Christian on the 27th. As for Estes Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Gilpin County on the 30th.
