Basketball Game Preview: De Soto Wildcats vs. Seaman Vikings

The De Soto Wildcats will take on the Seaman Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. De Soto knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Seaman likes a good challenge.

It was a proper cat-fight when De Soto duked it out withBasehor-Linwood on Tuesday. De Soto snuck past Basehor-Linwood with a 61-57 victory.

Meanwhile, Seaman was able to grind out a solid win over Topeka on Wednesday, taking the game 73-64. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Trojans are ranked 270th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

De Soto pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Seaman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.
