Basketball Recap: MacArthur Brahmas vs. Southwest Dragons

MacArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Southwest Dragons 87-46. The Brahmas were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2017.

Several Brahmas players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Pelt, who posted 13 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Savastain Espinoza-Carson was another key player, putting up eight points and nine rebounds.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Southwest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

MacArthur will welcome Jay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Jay's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Southwest, they will head out to take on Harlandale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
