Soccer Game Preview: Eagle Ridge Christian vs. Westwood Baptist Academy

Eagle Ridge Christian are taking a road trip to face off against Westwood Baptist Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Eagle Ridge Christian took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Kelly, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Hawks on April 14th. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Eagle Ridge Christian were the better team in the second half.

Lydia Hester and Betty Bell scored both of Eagle Ridge Christian's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Westwood Baptist Academy was forced to settle for a draw. They and Crosspoint Christian finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

With that draw, Westwood Baptist Academy's record moves to 2-2-1. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
