Softball Recap: Reading Takes a Loss

The Reading Red KNights lost 19-9 to the William Penn Bearcats on Saturday. The Red KNights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Charlotte Rivera Perez was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Reading now has a losing record of 1-2. As for William Penn, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reading will welcome Antietam at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for William Penn, they will take on Cedar Crest at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
