Softball Recap: Red Bank Comes Up Short

Red Bank fell victim to Polk County and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Polk County Wildcats, falling 9-0. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2018.

Red Bank dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Polk County, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Looking ahead, Red Bank will head out on the road to challenge Bradley Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Polk County, they will face off against Roane County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
