Softball Recap: Overbrook Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Samuel Fels, Overbrook was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past the Philadelphia High School for Girls GAZELLE 14-13. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their two-run performance the game before.

The victory got Overbrook back to even at 2-2. As for Philadelphia High School for Girls, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Overbrook will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against South Philadelphia at 3:15 p.m. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Philadelphia High School for Girls, they will venture away from home to take on Olney at 3:15 p.m. on the 29th.
